Pol Pot was the leader of Cambodia for many years and caused the death of 2.5 million people. Pol Pot was known for trying to reform Cambodia to his own version of what he though civilization ought to be. Poor health and malnutrition was very much to blame in the deaths. For killing sooo many people, Pol Pot spent his remaining years under house arrest and died of possible poisoning.
